Experience of Ole Nørklit

Nørklit Innovation Owner

Since the start of the company in Janary 2026 I have provided advice to investors and private equity on technology capabilities of primary satellite communication companies.

Cobham Satcom Senior Vice President R&D

Cobham Satcom is a provider of satelite communication terminals and antennas. I created a product oriented R&D organization. Drove development of flat panel antennas including measurement facilities. Successfully used fast prototyping to involve customers in product development. I was part of senior management and board meetings.

Oticon Medical, Chief Product Innovation Officer

Oticon Medical creates implantable hearing aids. I decided to introduced Scaled Agile in the SW development team, to achieve faster introduction of innovation. Created technology roadmap for next generation of the cochlear sound processor and fitting SW.

3Shape, Director R&D Intra Oral Scanner Development

3Shape is doing medical 3D scanning and CAD/CAM systems for Dental practices and labs. I introduced system engineering, requirement management and usability engineering as disciplines in medical device development into a fast growing 3Shape organization. I released several medical products to the marked. I have successfully been audited by FDA and for MDSAP for compliance to standards. I managed a scanner development project that created the world’s first wireless intra oral scanner. TRIOS 3 wireless.

Aricent, Technology Director

Aricent was an Engineering Service and Software Company with more than 10.000 employees worldwide, now part of Capgemini. Mostly specialized in communication technology. I started Aricent Denmark as part of the 3 man leadership team. Hiring more than 20 people.I have presented Intel’s mobile platform architecture to leading mobile phone manufactures in Asia as part of pre-sales activity. As a consultant I was a member of Intel’s platform architect team, participating in designing the next Intel mobile architecture.

Nokia Mobile Phones

Nokia Mobile Phones was at that time the world’s leading manufacturer of mobile devices. In my last position as Principal Architect I was Leading the design of 4G HW and SW architecture for Symbian, using advanced system modeling methods and introduced NFC and BT LE technologies into Symbian phones architecture.

Before that I held several positions. Senior Manager Connectivity Architecture, where I developed a framework for competence development for system architects and further refined product development processes. Platform System Design Program Manager where I was responsible for system design of all Nokia Low end mobile phone platforms. Platform System Design Project Manager, where the quality of the system design work resulted in the fastest production ramp up of a platform at that time. I was GSM RF System Design Chief Engineer where I was working with Texas Instruments on a CMOS RF and digital receiver. I was WCDMA Algorithm Design Team Leader, leading a team of 6 experts successfully getting part of the WCDMA algorithms ready for the first 3G phone, and I stared as developer in WCDMA Algorithm Design creating digital signal processing algorithms, and obtained a patent for Nokia concerning WCDMA receiver algorithms

Industrial Research ltd, Wellington, New Zealand, Research Fellow

I spend a bit more than two years working in New Zealand for Industrial Research who did basic researd and helped New Zealand industri with development work. I did Post Doc work with several scientific papers on antennas and signal processing published in peer reviewed journals. I also did antenna design projects for New Zealand Industry as part of the job.

Research Assistant, Aalborg University

I worked on the design of a Spherical Antenna measurements system.
